Landscapes and townscapes are my main subjects. I rarely paint a 'pure' landscape, what interests me most is the point where man's presence and nature come together, where a building sits on the shoulder of a crag, or where a line of trees dominates a street. Always the sky or the weather impacts on even the most urban of subjects.
